When is the trip and where are we headed?


Saturday 27th March – Saturday 3rd April in Tignes, France. Coaches leave on Friday 26th March.




I am a beginner. Can I come on GradSki?


You are already invited! We can also provide lessons and hire for all abilities.




I am a solo traveller. Is GradSki right for me?


GradSki is a social hub so perfect for any solo guests who want to get out there and have the week of their lives!




What do we do when we aren’t skiing?

Who is Wasteland Ski?


We have partnered with top travel expert, Wasteland Ski to coordinate a week like no other. Wasteland Ski are a group travel company which we and 100's of other large groups trust to supply their trips at the best possible rate. We use the Wasteland Ski booking portal to handle all of your payments, so everything is in one place and importatly secure.




When does booking close?


The booking closes 6 weeks before the trip, but it's best not to wait till then because we will sell out. Also make the most of our early bird prices and save your heard earned cash for more fun in the Alps.




Where are we stopping in Tignes?


At 2300m, Tignes Val-Claret is the highest and most lively village in Tignes. It is completely self-sufficiant with more shops, restaurants and bars than you could ever need. We will be stopping in self-catered accommodation with a kitchenette.




Do you provide transfers?


Absolutely, we offer transfers from: London to Resort for £120 return! or For Airport to resort transfers check out Alpy Bus or Bens Bus.




What dates are included in the lift pass?


The lift pass runs from Sunday 28th March – Friday 2nd April inclusive (6 days total) We've also upgraded you all to include both Tignes & Val D’Isere!




I am not a graduate, can I come?


Of course! Our guests will be young, enthusiastic legends! If you fit that bill, you are more than invited!




What are the key deadlines?


12th Feb - Payment Deadline 26th Feb - Booking Deadline (you can still book on if there's spaces left, you pay the full amount at checkout) 5th Mar - Option Deadline 27th Mar - Trip Begins 3rd April - Trip Ends 7th May - Damage Deposit Returned If you have any issues with these deadlines get in touch ASAP and I am sure we can help: holla@gradski.co.uk




What are the coach dates?


The coach leaves London in the evening of Friday 26th March and arrives at resort on the evening of Saturday 27th March. The coach then leaves the resort in the early afternoon on Friday 2nd April, arriving back in London on the Saturday 3rd April around Midday.




Covid Money Back Guarantee


YES you are completely covered if Covid makes a dreaded return! Within the booking terms if you go to section 1.8 this is the section that explicitly states that the trippers are covered under the 'Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018'. This is the legislation that requires us by law to refund all trippers in full within 14 days should the trip be cancelled due to a Covid lockdown. What happens if the holiday is cancelled due to FCO advise on traveling?


A simple choice of either A) Cash refund B) RCN or C) A combination of both, the choice will be yours to make. What happens if you have to quarantine when returning back to the UK?


As it stands, if the FCO ADVISE AGAINST travel, all trippers will be refunded accordingly in line with our terms and conditions as well as the Package Travel Regulations 2018. If the FCO does not change their advice to specifically “advise against all but essential travel” and travel to France is FINE but the quarantine is in place on return, the holiday will still go ahead as normal, and normal cancelation terms will be in place. HOWEVER! This is something we are watching carefully and will amend policy if required. This is a tricky situation and one that needs to remain fluid as we work with our suppliers to try and mitigate the risk – if we are able to negotiate free cancelation policies with them on this scenario, we will do so. We would also suggest you check your travel insurance, as some providers do cover full refund cover in this circumstance.




What happens if France implement a quarantine on arrival to France?


We will cancel the holiday and offer the refund options (Cash refund, RCN or Both which will be your choice). This decision will be made closer to the departure date to allow for potential changes in quarantine restrictions.




What happens if there is a local lock down in my area that may prevent me from traveling?


In the event of any local lockdowns coming into effect we will of course monitor the situation closely and make informed decisions on trip viability closer to the time of departure. Local lockdowns can vary in severity and each one will be looked at by our senior staff to asses if it is still possible for the trip to go ahead. We would also suggest you check your travel insurance, as some providers do cover full refund cover in this circumstance.




I have an Refund Credit Note (RCN), how do I use this on my 20/21 place?


Your place is already reserved but you will need to ensure that you book onto the new 20/21 trip with the same email address (used for your 19/20 booking) and pay your new 20/21 minimum payment/deposit to activate your booking. You will then be sent an email with a unique, one use code that applies your RCN value to your new booking. This email will have details on how to move forward with activating your RCN. Please note: You will need to confirm the new 20/21 trip by booking on normally, you will then be able to click ‘pay’ in your ‘Account Home’ and apply the RCN voucher.




I have a refund credit note from 19/20, what happens if the trip is cancelled again?


When you activate your Refund Credit Note (RCN) on a new 2020/21 booking, you enter a new contract under our 2020/21 booking terms. This means that your money is once again financially protected. It also means that should the trip be cancelled again due to FCO advise, you will have the same options as everyone else; either a new RCN, a cash refund, or a combination of both – it will be your choice.
